After spending a week on The Gulf Coast with our middle daughter, we returned home in time to travel to Northern Missouri for another Mom’s weekend with Our Baby the Bulldog.
We were tired and exhausted after spending a week with her older sister and three of her sorority sisters.
But spending time with this kid was worth the trip. It helped that we are experiencing unseasonably warm and sunny weather in the Midwest this year because a trip to Northern Missouri in the Spring can be cold and wet.
We went to lunch at a new restaurant in town – a Mongolian BBQ and Stir Fry restaurant. It is in a former Mexican restaurant as you can tell by the outside of the restaurant. They had great stir fry!
Then it was off to a local winery for the afternoon activity before the evening’s banquet.
I did not join a sorority when I was in college, but four of my daughters have joined one.  It has been a great experience for them and, although I had my doubts initially, I am happy that they are getting to enjoy this in college because I know that these young women will be friends for life.
We finally made it home and got to spend the night in our own bed, but it has been a great few weeks spending time with our three youngest daughters in their various college towns and on a Spring Break vacation!
